Precious in God's Sight

and believe it or not I'm not talking about all the little children! God has been teaching me a lot about gentleness over the last few months and this week is no different. My new meditation and hearts desire is for my actions to be precious in God's sight...and do you know what Peter says is precious to Him? A quiet and gentle spirit!!!! That is so not in my nature. I praise God every time I'm able to be quiet and gentle because it is only by His grace. Check out what 1 Peter 3:3-4 has to say about us women... "3 Do not let your adorning be external—the braiding of hair and the putting on of gold jewelry, or the clothing you wear— 4 but let your adorning be the hidden person of the heart with the imperishable beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which in God's sight is very precious." WOW. That's the type of beauty I want. That's the type of beauty I pray Kessa develops by the grace of God. A gentle and quiet spirit.

And a lo I did finally using some of the newspaper clippings from when Zeke was born. Not crazy about this LO, but I don't hate it either. I'm just not good at using newspapers and making it look good I think. The cute little bear is a tag from the outfit he was wearing in the picture on his birth announcement.

Zeke was the first baby born in our county in 2008.
