My friend Jessica had her third child about a month ago and I knew I wanted to make her something rather than buying something. I have an affinity for the handmade!
I had just bought Lil' Blue Boo's Little Leggings pattern and really wanted to try it out. So, even though it's a pattern that starts at 6 months I cut it down a little and made some "pants" rather than leggings (ie, not as tight.) I used some material I had picked up in the remnants bin to add ruffles to the legs and also to reverse applique the heart to the onesie. The pants are actually made out of a tank top I picked up on clearance at Old Navy a while back. (and they're brown, not black like they appear in the picture!)
Hope you liked it Jess!!! (and that it fit! *fingers crossed*)

Christmas Gift Basket

I had a lot of fun making this with my Peppermint Swirl kit from Scrap-Tastic. It's now availble in my etsy shop if you know anyone that might be interested. It's full of great holiday goodies and perfect for making all your little x-mas gifts and scrapping those special little moments. For this gift basket I made these home decor blocks that say "Merry" on them. All the papers are American Crafts (and they're two sided so I only had to use 3 sheets!!!) After I trimmed my paper and adhered it to the blocks (which my dad cut for me, Thanks dad!!!) I put a VERY heavy coat of Modge Podge on them and then added the Thickers once it was dry.

I always enjoy my envies being pretty so I stamped a big snowflake from the Pink Paislee Tinsel Town set on the flap of them.

The cards are really cute IRL, but I still haven't quite gotten the hang of photographing clear ones! If you've got any tips PLEASE leave me a comment!!!!

More to come tomorrow from this yummy kit. I'm not usually much on x-mas LOs, but I'm pretty pleased with the ones I did with this kit.

Gift Set
Just popping in before feeding Zekester to share this gift set with you. I made this for the Christmas in July crop at Addicted, but its not nessicarily a Christmas set. It would work for just about anything. It includes an altered memo pad, a Birthday calendar and a card.
If you're interested in this set or one like it you can check it out here. I just listed it in my Etsy store. Have a great night everyone!

Wedding Basket
So, not too much going on today, Tim is preaching morning and evening in Grayville today so we're a little bit more busy than normal. Tomorrow is Monday and I'm hoping we can all get back into the swing and schedule of life. Tomorrow is also Tim's first day at his new job!!! WOOHOO!!!!
This is the wedding basket I put together for some friends of ours that got married yesterday. They got married here and it was beautiful!
This is a picture of part of the inside downstairs (they also had the reception here.)
I was rather upset that I forgot to take pictures of everything in it (back to the basket) and of the whole thing together before I wrapped it up, but we were running too late to take it apart just for pictures. The basket is made out of cookies and its filled with Cinnamon and Sugar Biscotti, Mocha Biscotti, Almond Chocolate Cookies (which is what the basket is made of it), and Sugar Cookies. I also made a mini album with the recipes for all the goodies in it. (Sadly didn't get a picture of that either!) I plan on making another one soon just so I can get some good pictures. So that's it for today. Laters.
