Crafty Goodness

Just thought I'd pop in and share the rest of my LOs with the Rendezvous kit from Scrap-Tastic.
These pictures are so sweet to me...you can't see him but my dear dear father-in-law was sooo thrilled that Zeke was playing with this little tool bench and he was right there helping him. :)

In addition to the Rendezvous kit I used Sassafras Collage Trim stamps, SU Close to Cocoa ink, and I also used the Prima burlap in the kit to stamp the background on the cardstock.

This is one of those pictures that I just love...no rhyme or reason, it's not really a great picture by any means but I just LOVE it. I stole the title from the shirt Kessa is wearing which says "Girls Rock."

I used a Martha Stewart Embossed Zigzag punch, American Crafts JFK letter stickers, KI Memories Acrylic letters, and Memory Makers Chloe notepad paper on this LO in addition to the Rendezvous kit. Oh, and of course my lovely SU Close to cocoa ink and some Basic Black ink to do the back of the acrylic letters.

Well...I thought it was the rest, turns out the last LO is still on my camera so you'll have to wait until another day for it! ;)

Non-GMO Dessert

First off...a lot of you are probably wondering what GMO's are huh? Genetically Modified Organisms. Between 80 and 95% of all corn, soybeans, and cotton in the US contain GMO's...and there is no Government regulations on then. In other words, you can go to the store, buy something and it doesn't have to say if it contains GMO's. Rather scary from my point of view.

Anyway, I made a tasty dessert tonight...which is hopefully GMO free! lol. Mango Frozen Yogart. Yum. (and I use the term "dessert" loosely because this is not sweet persay, but still I find it to be a great dessert!)

Anyway I just blended two mangos with 4 cups of plain homemade yogart (thanks mom!) and then added a VERY little bit of honey and probably 1/4 of a cup of apricot nectar. I didn't want it to end up tasting like apricots instead of mangos but it was the only nectar I had and I wanted to try and take out some of the tang. Anyway, blend all ingredients, toss in an ice cream freezer and enjoy! (like I am as I'm writing this!!!)

Check out more about GMO's here.

Rummage Sale Saturday

Check out one of my scores from rummage sale'ing today!!! I paid $2 for this solid wood vintage bread box...I'm in love! Right now I'm storing my ink pads that I don't use as often (basically everything but brown and black) in it and keeping my glitters and embossing powders on top of it.

And another LO with the Rendezvous kit...

he looks all cute and innocent...and then he tries to eat your head.

And check back in tomorrow for some EXCITING news about "A Rak a Day in May"!!!!!!!!
