Just popping in to share the Nov. Scrap-Tastic kit. The Flirtatious kit is so full of bright fun papers and embellies! I really love the trim in this kit, it's great!

And here are some of the things I made this month...

I was loving my glimmer mist this month...and of course more distressing because..well...it's like an illness... I can't NOT distress! lol

A Few Sneaks

Tomorrow is the big reveal day over at Color Me Daisy for the November kit, but I thought that while you wait I'd give you some sneaks of what I've done so far with the kit. The colors are just delicious and I LOVE LOVE LOVE the embellies Michelle has included this month!

I had so much fun taking these pictures of my DH's aunt and uncle. Thanks for being so patient and putting up with the cold day! The lighting at the only time we could get together was NOT kind to me...but we did still get some good ones. Here are a few of my favs.




I think Spencer even had a good time! (until we headed for the dock that is...)

Oh, and for anyone who cares...yes the room remodel is still in progress. Very VERY SLOOOOOOOOOOW progress. If you love mudding or just want to watch my kids so I can mud give me a call! lol!

Water 4 Christmas

I know if you're like our family you struggle with knowing how to balance the "traditional" celebration of Christmas with making CHRIST centered. Well...this won't solve all your problems but it sure is a good way (and easy to boot!) to serve others.

Water4Christmas.com is a site that has partnered with Charity: Water to help provide people in Liberian villages with clean drinking water. Just $20 can provide one person with clean water for 20 years!

So what can you do? You can go shopping!!!! Water4Christmas's etsy shop is now open and 100% of the profits go straight to providing clean water to Liberia, Africa.

I also think these would be a great way to get your kids involved in "missions" and open their eyes to how blessed they are.
(how cute would these burp clothes be for all your new mom friends?!?!)

"It" Can Wait

Sometimes I need to be reminded that...
It can wait.

When my children are playing and enjoying life
to whatever is calling me away...
It can wait.

When my daughter wants me to linger at bed time
and I have a different plan...
It can wait.

When he asks for one more book
and I can only think of "my" time...
It can wait.

"It" will always be around
"It" won't be bothered if you leave it alone
"It" has no eternal value and...
It can wait.

Just some random thoughts running through my head tonight when my dd wanted me to "stay in here for a few minutes" after bedtime because she didn't like the rain...and I had new stamping goodies for me. I thank God for reminding me that they truly can wait...and so can I. I want to enjoy this time now because in a few years she might not be willing to tell me she wants me to stay or that she doesn't like the rain...especially if I don't stay and reassure her now.

Hopefully ya'all don't think I'm a bad mom now that I've made my confession, but I really did enjoy my time with her even though my new punches were waiting! lol ;)
