Just thought I'd pop in and share the rest of my LOs with the Rendezvous kit from Scrap-Tastic.
These pictures are so sweet to me...you can't see him but my dear dear father-in-law was sooo thrilled that Zeke was playing with this little tool bench and he was right there helping him. :)
In addition to the Rendezvous kit I used Sassafras Collage Trim stamps, SU Close to Cocoa ink, and I also used the Prima burlap in the kit to stamp the background on the cardstock.
This is one of those pictures that I just love...no rhyme or reason, it's not really a great picture by any means but I just LOVE it. I stole the title from the shirt Kessa is wearing which says "Girls Rock."
I used a Martha Stewart Embossed Zigzag punch, American Crafts JFK letter stickers, KI Memories Acrylic letters, and Memory Makers Chloe notepad paper on this LO in addition to the Rendezvous kit. Oh, and of course my lovely SU Close to cocoa ink and some Basic Black ink to do the back of the acrylic letters.
Well...I thought it was the rest, turns out the last LO is still on my camera so you'll have to wait until another day for it! ;)

Non-GMO Dessert
First off...a lot of you are probably wondering what GMO's are huh? Genetically Modified Organisms. Between 80 and 95% of all corn, soybeans, and cotton in the US contain GMO's...and there is no Government regulations on then. In other words, you can go to the store, buy something and it doesn't have to say if it contains GMO's. Rather scary from my point of view.
Anyway, I made a tasty dessert tonight...which is hopefully GMO free! lol. Mango Frozen Yogart. Yum. (and I use the term "dessert" loosely because this is not sweet persay, but still I find it to be a great dessert!)
Anyway I just blended two mangos with 4 cups of plain homemade yogart (thanks mom!) and then added a VERY little bit of honey and probably 1/4 of a cup of apricot nectar. I didn't want it to end up tasting like apricots instead of mangos but it was the only nectar I had and I wanted to try and take out some of the tang. Anyway, blend all ingredients, toss in an ice cream freezer and enjoy! (like I am as I'm writing this!!!)
Check out more about GMO's here.

Baby Steals is celebrating their birthday! Be sure and stop by www.babysteals.com and check out their deal of the day. I always check my e-mail at 10 am CST to see what the Deal of the Day is and so I can make sure I can snag it if it's something I want (like Baby Legs or cloth diapers!!)

Rendezvous!
Well gals (and guy if you're out there! ;)....today's the day!!! The Rendezvous kit is up for May at Scrap-Tastic. I'll post a pic of it here, but you really need to go read the contents...the picture SOOO doesn't do this kit justice!!!
And just for a tease I'll leave you with one of my LOs with this kit. Check back tomorrow for some more goodies!
(Kessa and Zeke are "eating" the letters from Zeke's alphabet train in these pictures, thus the title.)
I believe the alphas and the ribbon are the only things on this LO that aren't from the Rendezvous kit. I also use my new Martha Stewart Embossed Zigzag punch on it...yummy!

Happy Earth Day!
So I know it's almost over...but the littles and I were out in the Great Outdoors (aka our front/back yard) enjoying God's glorious creation almost all day! (and yes, my crazy little man tried to go down the front steps by himself...and suffered very minor degrees of road rash. Not even enough to get a pic of it though.) To me...that's what "going green" should be about...it should be about being a good steward of the resources that God has entrusted to us. I mean, "the heavens declare the glory of God and the sky above proclaims His handiwork." (Psalm 19:1) Our earth so often does a WAY better job of glorifying God that I do, it just makes sense that I should do all I can to preserve that so that other's might also be pointed to His glory.
So how about you? Did you have a beautiful day to glorify God too?

Another Health Update and some Sneaks
Wow, thank you all sooo much for all your prayers and support. You all make me smile even when I don't feel good and I love you all for that!!!!! *sigh* *big hugs* Anyway, Friday was an interesting day. DH and I dropped the kids off at their grandparents and went to the Dr....again. hehe. They did a flu test...negative. So they did a strep test (apparently you can have strep and NOT have a sore throat, who knew?!?!) Negative. So they were at a loss and decided they needed to call my OB and see what she wanted done. She wanted me to go the hospital and have some test done there, just another urine sample and a blood test to see if my white blood cell count was up, no big deal. We got those done and then decided it would probably be today before we heard anything so we were going to go away this weekend anyway. (yea!!!!) We got all packed up and left and about half-way to our destination the Dr. called and said I had passed a kidney stone while doing the urine sample at the hospital!!!! hehe!! That explained a lot but not everything. A few hours later my OB called and said I did in fact have a pretty bad UTI and she was going to call in a perscription for me. (God is good, it's not contatigous and it's easily treated!) Then, not 5 minutes later the other Dr. called and said my UTI was so bad I needed to be admitted to the hospital for IV antibiotics!!! Thankfully, my OB rules and DH and I got to have a nice weekend away and I'm feeling much better (although still slightly sub-par.) So again, thank you for your prayers!!!
And as a little treat for suffering through all this boring stuff how about some sneaks from the Rendezvous kit from Scrap-Tastic? Enjoy!
(that's a great new Martha Stewart border punch I just got called embossed zigzag!)

Update
Well ladies, thanks so much for all the prayers and well wishes....I love knowing that you all are out there and praying for me!!!! *hugs*
Anyway, I was running a temp of 103 again last night around 4:30 so I called the Dr. back to make sure this isn't something that's going to hurt the baby if it persist. The Dr. I had seen was already gone but the nurse sounded rather concerned so she called the on-call Dr. and they decided that all my symptoms sounded like it could possibly be influenza or a bacterial infection...we decided I'd go to my local urgent care last night...however they had no openings so in about 45 minutes I'll be calling the dr so they can run the test. lol, fun fun. I'm just praying it is one of these things!!!

Sorry
I'm feeling sorry for myself today. So I'm going to whine to you all so that maybe my family won't have to listen to it. Sorry. So Tuesday night I started running a fever (a whopping 102.9 to be exact!) and just generally feeling cruddy. My wonderful mother in law kept my kids over night so I could get some rest and by Wednesday mid morning I was feeling much better. I went and got the two crazies and we came home and hung out till nap time (and I indulged in one too.) I wasn't feeling 100% by any means, but better than I had been. Fever has been coming and going randomly. Felt pretty darn crappy again this morning and had another fever so I decided to call the Dr. and see if they could fix me up...I mean Dh and are supposed to be having a weekend get-a-way starting tomorrow and I don't want to be feeling all icky while we're gone!!!!! So I go to the Dr, they check my pee (I had told them I thought maybe I just had a bad UTI or kidney infection.) Nope, nadda. They said my pee looked good and didn't see anything else they could treat either...um...then why do I feel so crappy and why do I have a fever!?!??!?!? AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH I just want to cry (which insidently, I've been doing on and off all morning!) So...there ya have it. Sorry ...but thanks if you made it this far. I just want to feel better. And now I shall take a deep breath and try to do a better job of not feeling sorry for myself.

HE IS RISEN!
15 Jesus said to her, “Woman, why are you weeping? Whom are you seeking?” Supposing him to be the gardener, she said to him, “Sir, if you have carried him away, tell me where you have laid him, and I will take him away.” 16 Jesus said to her, “Mary.” She turned and said to him in Aramaic, [1] “Rabboni!” (which means Teacher). 17 Jesus said to her, “Do not cling to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father; but go to my brothers and say to them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’” 18 Mary Magdalene went and announced to the disciples, “I have seen the Lord” (John 20:15-18)
May you and yours have a blessed Resurrection Day.

A Quickie
Hey all! Just popping in really quickly to share a LO I did last weekend. I used a SCS's sketch and turned it into a DPS. I was thinking as I made this LO that we really do need to make sure we look at our papers for themselves and not just what they were marketed for. The papers I used in this LO are all from the Tinsel Town line by Pink Paislee (their Christmas line from last year.) I also thought it was fun to find a new color combo that still felt very "fallish" but wasn't your traditional colors. The title block and the one behind it are both from the Tinsel Town post cards. I fussy cut them and then the one behind I cut in half so that I would make it stick out enough to be seen.
Hope you all had a blessed Good Friday...if the weather holds I'm hoping to try and get in an Easter photo shoot with the little girl tomorrow.
OH! And Sunday I should probably have pictures of our newest little baby!!!! :D It's beautiful!
P.S. I'm totally not diggin this new LO since I can't get the HTML edited to my satisfaction, but I doubt that I"ll have much time to mess with it until Monday, so please bear with me!

My Morning...
consisted of grape juice colored vomit, courtesy of Kessa's sick little tummy (I know, TMI, sorry.) and this:
and now that it's evening they were both VERY tired and ended up going to bed early...however an hour later Kessa was crying as if she thought she would die. Being the good parent that I am I went to investigate and discovered that instead of sleeping...they had been sharing toys. Namely, Kessa's Bitty Baby Gabby had ended up in Zeke's crib with him and she couldn't get it out and wasn't about to go to sleep without her! lol.
Hehehe...these are the things that make me want to cry while they're happening, but also the things that I know I'm going to want to remember forever...because these little moments...even the frustrating ones...are what make up life. (Not to mention that moments that are so...so...argh...when lived are the moments God uses to sanctify me most!)

Fashion Forward...again
Hey gals! Just poppin' in real quick like to share two more LOs I did with the April Fashion Forward kit from Color Me Daisy. I'm waiting for some Glimmer Mist to dry on a little heart so I can finish up the cover of a mini I'm making for some friends.
Ok...here they are. I'm not sure why, but this kit just screamed "simple" to me. Not my normal style of LOs but I'm really really digging what's coming from this kit. The colors and patterens are just sooo amazing! I wish it would never end! he!
(isn't that Pink Paislee rose rub-on behind the title just amazing?!?!?)
and who could resist this face?!?!? He truly is a sweet boy too! :D
Ok, glimmer mist should be dry...off to finish the cover and hit the hay. See you all tomorrow!

Busted
Yesterday I was in the bathroom with Kessa when she busted me. Her "bathtub baby"'s leg was sticking out of the trashcan and she saw it. (You have to understand this is like a $3 Dollar General toy. It's marketed as a bath tub toy but has NO drainage!!!! (ewwwww) It's 2 years old so you can image what it looks like can't you? Not pretty.)
Anyway, I quickly explained to her that Bathtub Baby was all moldy inside and that mold could make us sick so we had to throw it away. She absorbed this for a few minutes...I waited for the dive at the trashcan to try and dig it out...however...the dive didn't come...instead she dropped this little bomb:
"But 'Zekiel isn't moldy."
BWAHHHHHHHHHHHHH...I about died laughing...and then it was even worse when I was telling Tim about it. hehehehe....she's always good for a laugh! ;)
(and just for the record I have NEVER tried or even mentioned throwing Zeke away!!! LOL!!!!)
