1. I am, at this very moment, eating ice cream and apple crisp.

2. My best girlfriend lives in DC and I only get to see her three or so times a year (if we're lucky!) Miss you Kirsten!!!

3. My husband doesn't make nearly as much fun of me for "competitive scrapbooking" since I started winning free stuff!! (check out Scrapping for Less if you want in on all the great drawings!)

4. I'm seriously worried I won't be able to come up with 7 people to tag at the end of this thing!

5. I'm doing a Kay Arthur study on the names of God and I just finished studying about "El Roi" I laugh every time I see that one because I always think ElRoy!! (God is just a good ol' boy?!?!?) Sorry, I'm not trying to be sacrilegious, just honest! lol

6. I was homeschooled k-12 minus 2. I went to public school my freshman and sophmore years and then opted to go back home.

7. I hope God blesses us with more little people.

A Year's Time

sure has changed my scrapping style!!!! Check out these lo's I did for a DT call a year ago...not bad...but certainly not up to par now! lol
This "Silly Girls" lo was my first ever attempt at doodling!
This one's cute, but looking at it now I can see so much more that could have been done to make it better.
And "Just the 3 of us"...I don't even know! lol...all I can think is, umm...I was prego in that pic...it was REALLY the 4 of us!

(Ok, that was the fun comparison I promised a while back...sorry for the big let down! ;)

Beauty

I used an August PageMap for the starting point of this LO. I just adore this picture of Kessa. It was taken by my SIL while we were in Virgina last month. A lot of the products in this LO are from the September Addicted Scrappers kit.

I had to use the back of this piece of grungeboard because of the direction I wanted it facing, but it still worked out well! I covered it with pink stickles and then rubbed a PP rub on onto a transparency and popped it up over the flourish.


This stamp was also done on a transparency and then popped up. Its from Autumn Leaves Gypsy Style set. The swirls are from AL's Swirls V.2 set. After I stamped the heart I sprinkled SU dazzling diamonds over the wet ink. (on a side note I used AL new ink that's made especially for clear stamps and I LOVE that stuff!!!)
And finally, more stickles and AL stamps! The poem I tore out of an old book and then inked and altered the title from On Hearing a Symphony of Beethoven to the one below.
BG paper is Bazzill shimmer paper and all the other pp is PP.

Paintables

Just popping in for a minute to share that Prima has a video tutorial up on their blog about Paintables! Good stuff. I' ll be back later with a funny compairison in my scrapping! TTFN!
